ELIGIBILITY GUIDELINES
General Business Funding Eligibility Guidelines
Understand the common starting factors funding partners may consider when reviewing a business funding request.
These guidelines can help you decide whether submitting a request may be worthwhile. They are not universal requirements, and businesses outside the general ranges shown below may still be considered.
General Guidelines
No Obligation
No Hard Credit Pull to Start
Eligibility, approvals, amounts, rates, fees, and terms are determined by the applicable funding partner or lender.
COMMON STARTING POINTS
Could Your Business Be a Potential Fit?
Many funding partners begin with business history, revenue, banking activity, and credit profile. Exact criteria depend on the product and provider.
12+ Months
In business
$100K+

These are general starting guidelines, not approval requirements. Businesses outside these guidelines may still be considered. Meeting them does not guarantee approval, funding availability, amounts, rates, fees, or terms.
COMMON REVIEW FACTORS
What Funding Partners May Consider
No single factor determines an outcome. Providers generally review the business as a whole under their own credit policies and program guidelines.
Business History
Time in business, ownership history, business structure, operating stability, and industry experience.
Revenue and Cash Flow
Gross revenue, bank deposits, cash-flow patterns, account balances, payment activity, and seasonality.
Credit and Obligations
Personal or business credit, existing debt, repayment history, liens, judgments, or other obligations.
Industry and Purpose
Industry, state, requested amount, intended use of funds, product fit, and provider restrictions.
IF YOU CONTINUE
Documents You May Need Later
The initial VeriPoint request does not require document uploads. A funding partner may request records later based on the product, amount, and business profile.
Business Financial Documents
- Recent business bank statements
- Profit-and-loss statements or balance sheets
- Business tax returns or revenue records
- Accounts-receivable or sales reports
- Current business debt or obligation schedules
Ownership and Transaction Documents
- Government-issued identification
- Ownership and business-formation information
- EIN, licenses, or organizational records
- Vendor quotes, invoices, or purchase agreements
- Collateral, insurance, or property information when applicable
WHY CRITERIA DIFFER
Eligibility Is Product and Provider Specific
A business that does not fit one product may still fit another. Requirements can change based on the requested amount, intended use, industry, location, repayment structure, and provider guidelines.
Final eligibility and terms are determined during funding-partner or lender review, not by VeriPoint Funding.
Product and Amount
A line of credit, term loan, SBA-backed loan, and equipment product may use different standards.
Industry and State
Some products or providers may be unavailable in certain industries, states, or situations.
Business Performance
Revenue consistency, deposits, cash flow, seasonality, and existing obligations may affect review.
Credit and Documentation
Credit profile, ownership information, records, collateral, and transaction details may be considered.
No Documents to Begin
The initial request does not require document uploads.
No Hard Credit Pull to Start
A funding partner may request authorization for a credit review later.
No Obligation to Proceed
Submitting a request does not require you to accept an option.
Eligibility Guidelines FAQs
Are these approval requirements?
No. These are general starting guidelines only. Each funding partner and lender uses its own eligibility standards, credit policies, underwriting requirements, and program rules.
Can I submit a request if my business falls outside one of the guidelines?
Yes. Businesses outside one or more general guidelines may still be considered depending on the product, provider, industry, business profile, funding purpose, and other factors.
Does a 620 or higher credit score guarantee approval?
No. Credit is only one factor, and different providers use different standards. A particular score does not guarantee approval, funding availability, amounts, rates, fees, or terms.
What documents could a funding partner request?
Depending on the product, a funding partner may request bank statements, tax returns, financial statements, ownership records, identification, debt schedules, invoices, purchase agreements, collateral information, or other supporting documents.
Will the initial request affect my credit?
The initial VeriPoint request does not require a hard credit pull to start. A funding partner may request authorization for a credit review later if you choose to continue.
Does VeriPoint decide whether my business is eligible?
No. VeriPoint Funding is not a direct lender and does not make credit decisions. Eligibility, approval, funding availability, amounts, rates, fees, and terms are determined by the applicable funding partner or lender.
